Today's photo was taken shortly after An Interactive "How-To" Session on social media at the Northeast Facilities and Buildings Management show at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center. Tom Palange, Director of Marketing for Cannistraro, was one of the keynote speakers at the talk. This picture was taken at the Social Media Pavilion sponsored by Cannistraro.

Today's photo comes from the Cannistraro Service Group booth at the NEBFM show at the BCEC where we're giving away Service Group golf balls to those who can beat the putt-putt challenge. The trade show brings out building owners and facility managers every June.

Maintaining a safe work environment is always of the utmost importance on a job site. From time to time, Cannistraro recognizes outstanding project teams for their commitment to working safely. As 2011 drew to a close, Cannistraro honored Plumbers and Sprinklerfitters onsite at Spaulding Rehab Hospital with a Safe Job of the Quarter Award.

When Gillette Stadium opened 10 years ago, the New England Patriots were fresh off celebrating their first championship in Super Bowl 36. As the Plumbing and Fire Protection contractor on the stadium project, the end result proved to be a prefabrication milestone. The Patriots go for their 4th Super Bowl ring this weekend, and all of us at Cannistraro wish them good luck!

Our story begins in 1963 when John Cannistraro, Sr. (aka "Mr. C") founded J.C. Cannistraro, Inc. with only $1,500 in his pocket. Nearly 50 years later, the second generation has moved from the back of the truck to the front office.

Countdown to 50!

The year 2012 marks Cannistraro's 49th year in mechanical construction.  There is no question that the company has grown by leaps and bounds from Mr. C's one-man plumbing shop in Waltham, MA, and there are many who share in the responsibility for the company's success!
